Part 1: City & Desert
Marrakech & The Sahara

Step into a desert world in the Sahara on this week-long exploration of Morocco. Hike to a desert camp and catch the sunset over the dunes before sleeping near an oasis. Then, in Marrakech, dig deep into the regional cuisine with a tanjia-making demonstration before heading to the Ouzoud oasis and waterfall for a swim and tasty lunch. Believe us when we say this trip will have your belly, heart, and soul all feeling equally satisfied.

Part 2: Mountains
Climb Mt. Toubkal

After fun in the desert and adjust to time zones, we begin our climbing adventure of Jebel Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak, elevation 13,671 feet. Our ascent is no picnic, but is accessible to anyone in good shape and hungry for a thrilling high-altitude adventure. Traditional Amazigh communities line the route on this trip and you’ll have plenty of time to learn their customs through village visits and overnight camping with hearty home-cooked meals. The views on the way up are spectacular, but nothing compares to what you’ll see and feel at the summit.
